My experience in the university has been a little strange. I did not do the first two courses of english for how I was in the initial test, so when I came to english three, it was all “new” for me. I did not know the teachers or the methodology of the program.   I have to say that I do not have good memories of the past course. The teacher of that class was not very pedagogical, so I enter to english four with mistrust, especially for the fact that I could not know who was going to be my teacher this semester and I only expected that was not the same. This course has been very different, I like the fact that the oral practice is an important part of the class. I considered that I need more oral practice, especially because I feel nervous when I have to say something in this language. When I was in school I did not speak english in my usuals class and that is something that all the english programs need to improve. Outside the english class, I speak very little english. I...

The English program of the university is required in all the careers. Today it is believed that learn english opens opportunities in the laboral field. I’m not too sure about this, I don’t think that someone must be defined for their english level, because there are many factors that  influenced the access to good courses of this language. Not all the people have the chance to have a good base in the school, so I think in the English of the university as a leveling course. For this, I considered that is very important to have a complete program and great teachers that have the abilities and the intentions to transmit their knowledge. I have to be honest in this blog, I don’t feel so agreed with the contents that the English courses incorporated, because it didn’t give you the necessary tools to really learn english.
