Dreams and careers

When I was a child I dreamed of being a teacher or a writer. I never thought of being a journalist, but I am, right now, studying journalism. Before deciding, I thought I could study philosophy or literature, and maybe then do the degree in pedagogy.  But, just when I had to apply for the university, I realized I don´t really want to be a teacher for the rest of my life. In that moment, I knew that I want to work on something where I had to be informed of what happen, a job that seems that I am studying constantly. Because I love learning something new every day. I don't regret of my choice. I have known great people and I have learned a lot in a world that is very different of high school, and that is amazing.  For my love of writing, I want to work in newspappers or in communication studies and research.

In 1997, my brother and I borned in little hospital in Santiago. I grow up in a beautiful, lovely and united family, even since my parents got divorced, 9 years ago. While my dad lives in Chicago, United States, I live in Santiago with my older brother, my twin and my mom. My mom loves the stranges names. She wanted that my brothers and I had originals names, so she named us Yassef (my older brother), Yerom (my twin) and Yamitza (me). With my family, I traveled to several cities of the north and south of Chile. I really love to know new places. Since I was a child, I like to write and read every kind of books. That passionate almost made me study philosophy, but I ended studying journalism, because I think is great to be informed of what is happening at every moment. Although, I promise myself that one day I will do a course of philosophy.

Poor Jimmy, he and his tragic history

Once upon a time a boy called jimmy had an ocean cruise accident. Luckily he survived and swam to a desert island   and he stayed alone for a few days. Some time later he was hungry and he thought to himself  "I wish I could eat a tacos". Next day he walked in the desert island and found something. He noticed a bottle that had a piece of  paper with a message. The short message said: "Free tacos". Jimmy thought he was lucky. But a little line, under de message, destruyed Jimmy's hope.  The free tacos were only for that day. And Jimmy was in a desert island without the chances to get food.  The Jimmy's tragic history got better. He was rescued at the other day. But he didn't get his tacos.
